Sim TAVI

A simulation-based course

We’re delighted that you’re interested in TAVI and our course offerings. Currently, there are no scheduled course dates, but feel free to leave us your contact details, and we’ll notify you as soon as the next session is planned.

The TAVI Revolution

Contemporary TAVI implantation has revolutionized the treatment of aortic stenosis over recent decades. While the procedure has seen significant advancements, it still presents challenges that demand expertise in pre-procedural planning, management of large-bore arterial access, and the safe operation of various valve systems.

Reasons to participate

  • Learn to manage patients with aortic stenosis using “real life” cases and current guidelines.
  • Gain practical experience with ultrasound-guided femoral puncture and the use of vascular closure devices.
  • Develop a structured approach to evaluating TAVI screening CTs and interpreting CT datasets using specialized software.
  • Perform “real life” TAVI procedures on simulators equipped with various TAVI devices.

Impressions - Course 2024

On September 23-24, 2024, at the SO / Vienna, over 15 European countries were represented, creating a dynamic, hands-on learning environment. Attendees practiced real-world scenarios, guided by a renowned faculty and supported by cutting-edge simulation technology. Participants also had valuable networking opportunities, connecting with peers and experts. The course was a great success, leaving a lasting impact on all involved.

Recommendations

„I recommend this very informative and interesting course because of its balanced mix of hands-on and lecture elements. It was a great opportunity to train on various simulators and models, which were available during the course. Thank you for the great hospitality and pleasant atmosphere in a first-class training environment.“

Prof. Dr. Wolfram Voelker, University hospital Wuerzburg, Germany
